This time around Prez election is of utmost importance as it is supposed to heal where it hurts most i.e. pocket. With economic mess downturning to economic depression and $825 billion looking like proverbial too little i.e. a drop in ocean (oont ke munh mein jira), it's time to think as to who can deliver us out of this mess.
I have no doubt M(a)cCa(i)n and here is why:
M(a)c leads the way all the way e.g.
1. McCain tells Obama to reach White House to participate in stemming economic down turn and he comes.
2. McCain tells Obama to go to Iraq and he goes.
And you can add other examples.
In short, initiative and drive rests with McCain.
Obama not the man of his word:
After initially agreeing to work with campaign money, he later changed his mind as he wants to remain spendthrift in this doldrums economy whereas all the CEOs which includes Prez are needed to be in tight leash of spending.
On the other hand, McCain has suggested Spending freeze as charity begins at home.
Balance and checks of democracy favor McCain:
After having all the branches from same party viz. Republican, it's about the time when people may decide to retain Republican in White House as both houses of Legislative branches are already having Democrat majority. Therefore, the arguement that McCain is Bush's 3rd term which is already stretch and figment of imagination, is beaten hollow by this simple principle of pragmatic American politics.
Last but not the least, this is an election of political instincts which favor the brave McCain

What you think you will win ?
Here is how pollesters are doing polling, not only biased but very skewed.

On Election Day in Virginia, I wouldn't be surprised if more Democrats show up to the polls than Republicans.
But, I have doubts that recent polling in Virginia is accurately representing who is going to show up on the first Tuesday in November.
For example, the Survey USA poll has 39% Democrats, 30% Republicans and 25% Independents. The Suffolk poll has 45% Democrats, 31% Republicans and 24% Independents/Unaffiliated voters. Neither poll is close to historic party ID in Virgina: The 2004 electorate was 39% Republican, 35% Democrat, and 26% Independent. This changed little in 2006, when the Allen-Webb electorate was 39% Republican, 36% Democratic, and 26% Independents.
In the best year for Democrats since 1974, with a uniquely well-positioned candidate in Jim Webb and running against a uniquely pooly-positioned candidate in George Allen, the Democrat beat the Republican by less than one percent.
An Obama win in Virginia? Yes, that's quite possible. An Obama win by 12 percent, as Suffolk currently shows? If you believe that, you're smoking something besides the commonwealth's tobacco products.
